Rowley Way / Canvas

For several years I have been interested in brutalism, an architectural trend of the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Brutalism is a very particular style and recognizable in particular by two points:
The repetition of elements and the use of “raw” concrete
These architectures are simply fascinating, often imposing, sometimes they defy the laws of gravity and perspective.

Rowley Way
London – UK
Designed in a brutalist style by the architect Neave Brown in 1968.
Paint and fluo POSCA pen on canvas – 80x100cm
